Niki & The Dove are a Swedish indietronica duo from Stockholm, formed in February 2010. The group consists of Malin Dahlström (vocals and production) and Gustaf Karlöf (production). Malin: When you create something, you always create it, and it’s something that’s by itself. So bigger than yourself, maybe not. But something else.

Albumet ”Instinct” kom 2012. De har gästat Skrillex, Elliphant och Kleerup och remixat Pet Shop Boys. De jobbar även med Veronica Maggios kommande album.

Pseudonymen Rachilde (Marguerite  Hanna Järver, Malin Dahlström och Gustaf Karlöf i Niki & the Dove, Sophia Somajo och Pelle Ossler, är bara några som får Sveriges  Malin Dahlström och Gustaf Karlöf kommer med Instinct den 17 maj. Detta blir duons albumdebut.

Gustaf Karlöf och Malin Dahlström träffades redan 1999, men började har redan fyllt kvoten av blomsterspråk när det gäller Niki & The Dove. Niki & The Dove består av Gustaf Karlöf och Malin Dahlström.

Singer/songwriter Malin Dahlström and keyboardist/guitarist Gustaf Karlöf began working together in February 2010, combining her dark imagery with his fondness for sounds ranging from Stravinsky to Eurovision pop. Malin and Gustaf was first brought together in Gothenburg where they played together in different bands before forming Niki & The Dove in 2010 and releasing the debut single “DJ, Ease My Mind”. As a song that tells the story of what a simple pop track can do to a human, it was a fitting introduction to the band’s outlook on the beauty of music. 2011-03-31 Kaleidoscopic in the studio and a force majeure on stage, it’s no surprise that Niki & The Dove, Malin Dahlström (voice, songs) and Gustaf Karlöf (keyboards, songs) met while writing a wide range of music for the theatre.
